Our ABA Services
Bright Beginnings ABA offers support for families through individualized ABA therapy treatment plans targeting socialization, skill development, and replacing challenging behaviors associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Applied Behavioral Analysis Overview
Social Skills
Having peers participate in ABA therapy alongside your child creates opportunities for them to have guided interactions with others. With 1:1 staffing, every child will experience adult-support to practice turn taking, sharing toys, playing games with other children, and building friendships.
ABA uses the principle of reinforcement in order to assist children with learning new skills. These skills can include communication about wants & needs, listening to instructions, gaining knowledge about the world around them, age-appropriate play skills, and daily living tasks.
Skill Development
Challenging Behaviors
Through reinforcement and redirection, your child will learn coping skills and replacement behaviors for challenging behaviors they may experience. These challenging behaviors may include self injury, aggression, refusals, throwing, yelling, etc. These behaviors are also decreased through acquiring communication skills, awareness, and building strong social relationships.
Reinforcement
Reinforcement is the method of providing access to enjoyable, fun items specific to your child to encourage continuous learning. This also assists with therapists and children building a strong bond with one another, motivating your child to attend therapy, enjoy their sessions, and continue to learn important skills.
